My art is an expression of my varied life experiences. To study nature and to understand its power is a big task for any artist. I studied nature with all its minute details. I tried to catch the shapes and the movements found in nature in my pictures. I was lucky to discover the beauty in nature.

When it came to colors, I started with predominantly white. I was scared to use colors. But I found glory, serenity and peace in white. My pictures are still primarily white.

I use acrylic medium. I try to explore interplay of textures, light and shadow to create atmospheric feelings. To create depth and glow, I work with layers of acrylic color. I believe that the picture is being made through me, that I am just the means.

I started this journey with the blessings of my parents when I wasn’t even aware what the art is! It grew through the joy I found in nature and hard realities of life shaped it. I could capture the abstract into something concrete, my art. I tried to do more than my job as an art teacher. Any art that does not limit itself in preconceived notions becomes great. My art created hopes and happiness in people. Seeing those in theirs faces completes my art.
